FCRC Emergency Closure

In accordance with the University’s policy to follow the NYCDOE’s guidance on weather-related closures, when NYC public schools are closed due to weather or other citywide emergencies, RU will also be closed (https://www.rockefeller.edu/news/24260-university-updates-policy-storm-related-closures/) and FCRC will be closed as well.

1. FCRC Staff will cancel the sorts for the closure day free of charge

We understand that you may have very important time-sensitive experiments planned, so we would like to ask you to re-book your sorts for another time that is most convenient for you. If you can’t find an open time but have urgent need for sorting, please send the FCRC Sort  Waiting List Form specifying the level of urgency and time flexibility. FCRC Staff will try to accommodate your sorts, dependent on availability, on a first-come-first-served basis.

2. FCRC Staff will cancel all consultations and trainings which involve FCRC Staff presence

For FCRC consultations and trainings canceled due to RU closure, please reply to the original confirmation email you received with new time options for FCRC Staff to reschedule.

3. The FCRC Analysis Room (DWB211) will operate on night / weekend operation terms (refer to https://www.rockefeller.edu/fcrc/bdlsrii-maintenance/)

If you decide not to do Flow Cytometry Analysis – please cancel your booked slots in advance and notify FCRC by email at FCRC_staff@rockefeller.edu. We will remove the charge.

Thank you for understanding and for your cooperation, and again we apologize for any inconvenience that RU closure might cause you.

Please note that all communications should be done via FCRC_Staff@rockefeller.edu only.
