Subject: OHS COVID-19 Watch Program: REQUIRED Daily Health Assessment and Contacts Reporting – On-line Tool Now Available

Dear RU community,

As part of the University’s on-going efforts to prevent community transmission of COVID-19 on the RU campus, we are pleased to announce a new on-line process for completing and sending self-health assessments to OHS (VPN connection required if accessing from off-campus). This on-line tool will make is more convenient for employees to send their health status information to OHS and more efficient for OHS to follow-up with employees as needed.

Under NYC, NYS and OSHA regulations, all employees who report in person to University facilities to conduct work activities during Phase III operations are required to complete and submit the assessment checklist before each work shift.  This regulation applies to all academic and non-academic staff as well as all trainees. The on-line self-health checklist provides a convenient way to comply with this requirement.  More information about the Daily Health Assessment and Contact Reporting policy, and instructions on how to access it from your cell phone, computer or other electronic device is available on line.

The health assessment checklist is just one element of the RU COVID-19 Watch Program.  SARS-Cov-2 viral RNA testing and serology IgG testing are also offered to RU employees.  Guidance about travel is also provided.

Please remember to stay at home if you are feeling ill.  OHS will contact employees who are ill to provide guidance and establish a return to work plan.

If you have difficulty accessing the on-line health self-assessment site, please notify your supervisor and seek assistance from the IT helpdesk.

Questions about the Program can be sent to restart@rockefeller.edu

Thanks, everyone!
