Visitors from Outside RU

Attendees planning to come to RU for any on-campus event are covered by this visitor policy in addition to the On-Campus Events Policy.

All members of our community carry their RU ID cards and “swipe in” at campus entrances every time they come onto campus.

Employees and students of Weill Cornell Medicine, New York Presbyterian Hospital, Memorial Sloan Kettering and Hospital for Special Surgery may access campus through the 66th Street Gate without prior approval by presenting a valid ID from their host institution to Security at the Gate.

Access by other visitors and vendors is by advance approval. Requests for campus access should be submitted on-line using the MSForms request. All guests/visitors are expected to comply with University COVID policies.

RU employees and students may bring family members to campus for enjoyment of outside areas only from 4 pm to 10 pm Monday through Friday and from 8 am to 10 pm on Saturdays and Sundays. RU employees and students are required to meet the family members at the 66th Street Gate, inform the Security Officer on duty that these are family members and escort and remain with their family members while they are on campus. Family members may not enter University buildings. Minors are not allowed in the Wang Gardens of the River Campus.

Visitors should not come to campus if they are ill or experiencing symptoms associated with COVID-19, are in isolation due to contact with someone who tested positive for COVID-19 or have themselves tested positive for COVID-19 within the last ten days.

The University reserves the right to restrict access to campus for both RU personnel and visitors without advance notice.
