  • Andrew Shulman of the Los Angeles Piano Trio is the first British musician to win New England Conservatory’s prestigious Piatigorsky Artist Award.
  • Helen Sung partnered with award-winning poet and former chair of the National Endowment of the Arts Dana Gioia on Sung with Words, where Mr. Gioia provided spoken word intros to some of her songs and Ms. Sung created music based on Mr. Gioia’s poems.
  • The Fry Street Quartet is named after a street in the Chicago neighborhood where they first started to rehearse.
  • Boris Giltburg loves photography and hiking, including trips through Chile’s Patagonia, England’s Peak District, and Italy’s Gran Paradiso National Park.
