Ways to Support Women & Science
Partners in Discovery, the philanthropic program of Women & Science, has raised more than $55 million for talented women pursuing careers in the sciences at The Rockefeller University. Donors to Partners in Discovery have established the Rebecca C. Lancefield Professorship for a senior woman scientist, funded educational opportunities for young women in Rockefeller’s summer research programs for high school and college students, and created seed funds for research related to cancer, neuroscience, and global health. More recently, the initiative has launched the Kellen Women’s Entrepreneurship Fund to ensure that every Rockefeller scientist who wants to realize the therapeutic potential of her discoveries has the resources to do so.
Contributions to the University are deductible for federal income and gift tax purposes as provided in applicable sections of the Internal Revenue Code.
