Engaging with Rockefeller

Rockefeller’s researchers ask (and answer) bold questions and make non-incremental advances in their fields. It is not uncommon, especially in the world of translational science, that the research interests of an academic may be synergistic with those of a company. As such, these common interests may create an opportunity for engagement between a Rockefeller lab and industry and business. OTT, in coordination with other groups within Rockefeller, helps facilitate and formalize these research interests in relevant contracts. The academic freedom of Rockefeller researchers is paramount, and Rockefeller’s Policy on Industry Sponsored Research governs any such contracts.
