Please join the RU Biotech Forum for our next talk by Dr. Ron Cohen, who is the founder, President and CEO of Acorda Therapeutics Inc.(NASDQ:ACOR), a public biotech company developing therapies for spinal cord injury, multiple sclerosis and other disorders of the central nervous system. He will discusses his company's work on Multiple Sclerosis, and how they brought AMPYRA to the market to help MS patients. In addition, he will share his perspectives on entrepreneurship on how to start and grow a biotech company. Dr. Cohen is Chairman of the Emerging Company Board of the Biotechnology Industry Organization (BIO). He previously served as Chairman of the New York Biotechnology Association. In 2011, Dr. Cohen was named Neuroinvestment's CEO of the Year and was recognized by PharmaVoice Magazine as one of the 100 Most Inspirational People in the Biopharmaceutical Industry. In 2010, Dr. Cohen was recognized by the New York Biotechnology Association as the NYBA's "The Cures Start Here" Business Leader of the Year.
