Speaker bio(s): In this talk I will discuss some recent evidence regarding the degree to which AlphaFold appears to learn to do implicit physics, as well as how this knowledge is acquired during the training process. Time permitting, I will also discuss differences between AlphaFold 2 and 3 with regards to the question of implicit physical knowledge.
