ECCO: East Coast Chamber Orchestra

ECCO is a group of musicians — colleagues and friends from leading conservatories and music festivals across the country — who play together as a self-conducted chamber orchestra. Formed in 2001, ECCO is comprised of some of today’s most vibrant and gifted young string players: soloists, chamber musicians, principals of major American orchestras and Grammy winners. ECCO released its first commercial recording in 2012 and its 2012–2013 season included debuts at the Krannert Center for Performing Arts and Princeton’s University Concerts, as well as return visits to the Skaneateles Festival, the Philadelphia Chamber Music Society, the Peoples’ Symphony Concerts and Union College Concerts.
