COVID-19 Policy for University Events

By entering The Rockefeller University’s campus and participating in this event, attendees agree to follow all COVID-19 safety protocols as determined by The Rockefeller University at the time of the event. Attendees agree to abide by the following requirements to ensure everyone’s safety:

  • Be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 with a vaccine approved by the United States Food and Drug Administration or the World Health Organization. Fully vaccinated is defined as having completed a COVID vaccination series (i.e., two doses of Pfizer or Moderna or one dose of Johnson&Johnson) at least two weeks prior to the event.
  • Test negative on either:
    • Rapid, at-home test taken on the same day as the event
    • PCR test results received no more than 24 hours prior to coming to campus
  • Wear a face mask indoors when not actively eating or drinking in designated areas.

Attendees assume all risks related to exposure to COVID-19 and waive any and all potential claims against The Rockefeller University relating to COVID-19 or any other communicable disease or illness.

Attendees should not come to campus if they are ill or experiencing symptoms associated with COVID-19, are in isolation due to contact with someone who tested positive for COVID-19 or have themselves tested positive for COVID-19 within the last ten days.

The University reserves the right to restrict access to campus for both RU personnel and visitors without advance notice.

Our safety guidelines are subject to changes as federal, state, and city recommendations evolve.
