Since its founding in 1901, Rockefeller University has pursued its mission of Science for the Benefit of Humanity with an audacious spirit and a singular focus that has resulted in the cure and treatment of many diseases and disorders. In 2026, the university is celebrating 125 years. This is a milestone for the university community, as well as a landmark occasion for the global scientific enterprise.

The Discover 125 logo conveys Rockefeller’s rich tradition of scientific excellence but also reflects an institution that is on the leading edge of scientific discovery. The guidelines below provide basic usage instructions for the logo. The logo can be used throughout 2026.

Discover 125 Logo and Tagline

The Rockefeller University’s Discover 125 logo identity is stacked vertically, used with and without the official tagline. When used, the tagline is positioned on two lines beneath the logo. The tagline cannot be used on its own.

The logo with and without the tagline is supplied in an EPS format for print and PNG formatfor digital and may only be reproduced with the supplied files.

Discover 125 logo must be accompanied by the Rockefeller University logo on materials.

Space clear of all other graphic elements is required as noted below when placing the Discover 125 logo near the Rockefeller University logo:

The area around the logo that should remain clear of all other graphic elements is
equal to the length of the letters “T H” in the word “THE.”

The minimum recommended size for Rockefeller’s Discover 125 logo is 1.2” high from top to bottom of the logo with the tagline, and .6” high from top to bottom of the logo without the tagline. Reproducing the logo at a smaller size will compromise the clarity.

Suggested colors for the Discover 125 logo are PMS 294, black, or dropped out of a

dark background. The logo cannot appear in multiple colors. Conversions for PMS 294:

Incorrect usage of Discover 125 logo

Only approved EPS and PNG files may be used for the logo with and without the tagline. Alternate wording or arrangement should not be substituted.

- The logo must always appear in an upright position.
- Do not reproduce the logo at an angle.
- Do not rearrange the elements of the logo and tagline.
- Do not distort the logo.
- Do not place the logo inside shapes.
- Do not place the logo on competing or patterned backgrounds.
- Do not allow the logo to be scanned from printed material or printed from
  low-resolution files.
