Rockefeller honors service milestones at employee anniversary celebration

On Wednesday, May 20, The Rockefeller University held its annual employee anniversary celebration in the Bass Dining Commons, where University President Richard P. Lifton personally congratulated each honoree. With service milestones ranging from 10 to 55 years, this year’s 106 honorees have contributed an extraordinarily 2,060 years of service to the university. Fourteen retirees were also lauded for their decades of dedication as they retired.
“Rockefeller discoveries have never just been about the discoveries; they are also about the people,” said Lifton. “The strength of this University comes from how people here work together. Everyone here has contributed to an environment where ambitious ideas can take root.”
“To our retiring colleagues, thank you for your many years of service. You have witnessed immense challenges in tech, medicine and the world around us, but your dedication to Rockefeller has been unwavering.”
