Open Enrollment

Open Enrollment, the time of year when updates in benefits are permitted, will begin on Wednesday, November 2, 2022, and continue through Wednesday, November 23, 2022.

The University’s Benefits Fair will mark the start of this Open Enrollment period. The Benefits Fair will be held on Wednesday, November 2, 2022 from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. in the Bass Dining Commons. Vendors for our health, life, and annuity plans will be here to provide information and answer questions. Please stop by.

Your 2023 open enrollment elections must be made in RUFirst by Wednesday, November 23, 2022. These updates will be effective January 1, 2023. Once you have entered your elections, review your confirmation statement immediately.

What happens if I don’t take any action? If you don’t make any changes during Open Enrollment, your benefits will remain the same. However, if you have a Flexible Spending Account, you MUST update your enrollments each year for the benefit to continue. Please contact Benefits at ext. 7788 if you experience a life event outside of Open Enrollment.
