The 2026 Cyma Rubin Women in Science Lectureship will take place on Tuesday, March 24, 2026 from 2:00 – 3:00pm in the C-200 auditorium and via online webinar. In-person attendance is highly encouraged. We welcome you to register for the lecture today. This year’s lecturer is Svati H. Shah, MD, MS, MHS, the Ursula Geller Distinguished Professor of Research, Professor of Biostatistics and Bioinformatics, Associate Dean for Translational Research, and Director of the Duke Center for Precision Health. The Cyma Rubin Women in Science Lectureship was created to highlight the accomplishments of distinguished women in the field of science and to inspire and promote women scientists. Welcome remarks will be provided by Robert A. Harrington, MD, the Stephen and Suzanne Weiss Dean of Weill Cornell Medicine and Provost for Medical Affairs of Cornell University.
