Speaker bio(s)

Jiankun Lyu conducted his graduate studies at the East China University of Science and Technology, and later worked in the lab of Brian Shoichet at the University of California, San Francisco, where he finished his Ph.D. and continued as a postdoc. During this time, Lyu worked on improving computational methods and algorithms for analyzing small molecules and their interactions with protein targets. He joined Rockefeller in 2023 as assistant professor and head of the Evnin Family Laboratory of Computational Molecular Discovery. Earlier this year, Lyu was honored with an Irma T. Hirschl and Monique Weill-Caulier Trust Research Award.
