Andrew Kasarskis serves as associate professor and codirector at the Institute for Genomics and Multiscale Biology. His research is aimed at methods and technologies for improving health outcomes through better data acquisition and mining to support decisions in patient care as well as development of therapeutics and diagnostics. This includes pathogen surveillance with modern DNA sequencing technologies, individual differences in drug response and electronic medical record mining.
