Artist Highlights
  • At Harvard University, Richard Kogan formed a trio with his friend Yo-Yo Ma and violinist Lynn Chang.
  • All four members of the Modigliani Quartet play on Italian instruments from the 17th or 18th century.
  • In 2015, Spanish Brass had a chance meeting with renowned jazz pianist Chano Domínguez. After hitting it off, the group and Domínguez partnered on a show entitled “Puro de Oliva” (meaning “Extra-Virgin Olive Oil”), showcasing the music and culture of Spain.
  • Zlata Chochieva was discovered by piano legend Mikhail Pletnev when she was just 14 years old. He saw her in a recital that was broadcast on a special Russian television channel and invited her to play with the Russian National Orchestra.
  • In addition to being the Founding Artistic Director of the Manhattan Chamber Players, Luke Fleming also is Lecturer-in-Residence for the concert series Project: Music Heals Us, whose mission is to bring live music and interactive programming to marginalized communities with limited ability to access it themselves.
  • Laetitia Grimaldi has been mentored since 2016 by the German baritone Matthias Goerne.
