Marlene Hess Center Grants

The Marlene Hess Center periodically requests applications from researchers at The Rockefeller University. Grants are awarded to promising projects which use the lens of sex differences and sex-specific research to investigate biological processes with clinical relevance.

2024 – 2026

In its first round of grants, the center awarded nine Idea Grants and seven Pilot Grants. These grants supported projects looking into issues such as breast cancer, multiple sclerosis (MS), obesity, diabetes, knee osteoarthritis, infertility, autism, Hepatitis C, Rett Syndrome, MeCp2 duplication syndrome, Grave’s disease, and many other diseases and disorders.
