Giving Opportunities
Graduate Fellow Oliver Dreesen

Graduate and Postdoctoral Education
Gifts in support of the graduate program and postdoctoral studies at the University help prepare the scientists of tomorrow.

The Rockefeller University Hospital
Gifts to The Rockefeller University Hospital can help fund a major renovation that will transform this unique, 90-year-old resource into a state-of-the-art research center for the age of molecular medicine.

Gifts to Advance Research in Specific Areas
Gifts may be made in support of promising studies on virtually every disease or medical condition that poses a serious health problem today.

President's Academic Venture Fund
Unrestricted gifts can provide flexible funds to be allocated at the discretion of the University's president to support projects where immediate gains may not be obvious, but the potential long-range payoffs for science and medicine are enormous.

Naming and Endowed Gift Opportunities
Naming gifts-generally gifts of endowment funds-establish a link in perpetuity between the donor and the University.

The Women & Science Initiative
Through the Partners in Discovery program, Women & Science raises funds in support of Rockefeller's women scientists-fellowships for postdoctoral investigators and graduate students and a proposed distinguished professorship.

DirectEffect: The HIV-AIDS Research Support Program
DirectEffect raises funds exclusively to support HIV-AIDS research at The Rockefeller University. It is the only HIV-AIDS research support program in the country that directs funds entirely to actual research activities.

Annual Giving
Friends of the University may make their gifts on an annual basis.

Planned Giving and Bequests
Many benefactors choose to support the University through bequests, appreciated securities, gift annuities, trusts and other life income gifts.
