Ultimately, all prospective graduate students have to apply online here.  However, it is helpful for us to know beforehand that you are applying with a specific interest in joining our lab, and we might invite you over for a visit.

Undergraduate Students:
If you are interested in joining the lab as a visiting undergraduate student over the summer, you can apply to the Summer Undergraduate Research Fellowship (SURF) program, which provides a unique opportunity for undergraduates to conduct laboratory research at Rockefeller University. High School Students:

Current openings

Postdocs

We are currently looking for postdocs to join the lab. While we are open to a large range of projects, we are particularly interested in the following:

  1. A postdoc with a background in chemical ecology and/or neuroscience who would be interested in working on the chemical and neuronal basis of pheromone communication in the clonal raider ant.
  2. A postdoc with a background in bioinformatics who would be interested in working on ant molecular evolution, development, or behavioral genetics using genomics approaches.
