Postdoctoral Positions in Peptide Chemistry

The Laboratory of Genetically Encoded Small Molecules at The Rockefeller University is seeking highly motivated and outstanding candidates for postdoctoral positions in peptide chemistry. The ideal candidate will have a Ph.D. in chemistry or a related field and have prior research experience in the field. Candidates must also demonstrate a strong track record of research productivity, scientific rigor, excellent communication skills, and an ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Interested applicants should send a cover letter, CV, and names and contact information of three (3) references to Dr. Sean Brady at

Applications will be accepted until positions are filled.

Natural products or more generally, genetically encoded small molecules play a wide variety of roles in biology and have proved useful in the development of small molecule therapeutic agents. The Brady Lab’s research centers on the discovery, biosynthesis and characterization of new, genetically encoded small molecules from microbial sources, with a special focus on those produced by uncultured soil bacteria and pathogenic bacteria.
