Postdoctoral Associate Group Leader

The Laboratory of Stem Cell Biology and Molecular Embryology at The Rockefeller University is seeking a highly motivated and experienced project manager to lead a sub-group in disease modeling with an emphasis on Huntington’s disease. He/she will lead a team of 10 people, including technicians, post-doctoral associates, and graduate students, joining ongoing efforts to (1) create tools to investigate the function of HTT, and (2) identify and characterize human HD-related phenotypes using self-organized structures of human embryonic stem cells (hESC). A strong background in neuroscience, neurodevelopmental biology, molecular biology or mammalian genome editing technologies is desirable.

The ideal candidate should be fluent in English and comfortable with oral presentations; able to generate periodic progress reports and other deliverables according to strict deadlines; liaise with funding body associates; as well as advise on multiple, simultaneous projects.
