Home Visit Information

In an effort to create as much continuity as possible between your home and the CFC, we will be doing home visits during the weeks of August 24th and August 31st. Home visits are an opportunity for us to see you and your child together interacting in your own home and an opportunity for your child to meet unfamiliar teacher-caregivers in the place safest and most reassuring – his or her home. Older toddlers are often especially thrilled to have a familiar teacher-caregiver visit them at home. Home visits can serve to create a stable bridge between home and center for children, parents, and teacher-caregivers. These visits are optional but strongly encouraged as we have found that they add to our process of building strong, supportive relationships with one another.

Please don’t feel that you have to do anything special for the visit. We’ll be happy just to sit on the floor, talking with, or playing with you and your child as you do whatever you commonly do! A maximum of two teacher-caregivers will visit your family at home. The visit will last approximately twenty minutes.

We will call you at the beginning of August to set up a time that is convenient for you.

Thank you,
CFC Infant and Toddler Teacher-Caregivers
