Translational Immunomonitoring Resource Center

The Translational Immunomonitoring Resource Center supports the Rockefeller University investigators funded by the Clinical Translational Science Award. It is located in the Rockefeller University Hospital, Room 234.

The Center is equipped with a BD LSRII and a Luminex. The LSR II is multi-laser flow cytometer with the ability to acquire multiple cellular parameters in parallel. The Luminex is a dual-laser flow cytometer that is able to detect 100 different extracellular, intracellular or nuclear proteins for simultaneous analysis.

The Center offers:

  • direction in setting up immunological assays
  • monitoring instrument performance by quality control (QC) procedures
  • training in the use of the BD LSR II and the Luminex devices
  • interpretation of data
