The Rockefeller University's Sponsored Research and Program Development (SR-PD) facilitates and streamlines grant and contract administration in compliance with university, government and sponsor policies and regulations. The SR-PD Director reports to the University Vice President for Academic Affairs.
Driven by the University mission, SR-PD anticipates and responds to research needs and shifting funding trends. We offer services and resources to enable the University's pioneering research, partnering with investigators and campus offices to promote collaborative and single investigator projects, as well as pursue training and infrastructure funding opportunities.
SR-PD assists investigators in grant/contract seeking efforts, navigating funding applications, and in the grant management process, before and after an award is made. We identify and disseminate funding resources, and we process proposals to federal, state, and local government agencies, as well as to private foundations. When needed, we also support submission efforts in coordination with the University's Development Office, Technology Transfer, the Graduate School, and the Office of General Counsel. We work with investigators and the University's compliance oversight areas to ensure that pre- and post-award activities meet regulatory and other requirements.
Through constantly evolving communication solutions, we keep the faculty and administration abreast of emerging opportunities, and act as a liaison to sponsor agencies in negotiating agreements and resolving funding issues as needed.
We value your comments and rely on your feedback to improve our services.
