Research and Clinical Initiatives
The Rockefeller University is home to numerous independent clinical and research initiatives. Some, including The Rockefeller University Hospital and the Center for Field Research in Ethology and Ecology, conduct investigations in many areas of biomedical interest. Others, including the Aaron Diamond AIDS Research Center and the Center for the Study of Hepatitis C, are collaborative efforts exclusively devoted to addressing specific public health issues. The Howard Hughes Medical Institute occupies laboratories at the university and supports 14 Rockefeller senior and junior faculty members as investigators.
