Alumni Reunion
The Rockefeller University community welcomes graduates of the
Ph.D. program to campus this week for the Alumni Centennial Symposium
and Reunion through Sun., May 6. More than 300 people are expected
to return for this reunion, which will be the first major gathering
of Rockefeller alumni since 1984.
The reunion program includes two days of scientific symposia featuring
presentations by more than 50 Rockefeller alumni and students; a
student poster session; and social activities, with many opportunities
for discussion among alumni, faculty and current Ph.D. students.
Current graduate students are encouraged to attend the scientific
symposia and reunion festivities. The full reunion schedule is available

Mombaerts
Receives Award
Assistant Professor Peter Mombaerts received the Takasago Award
for Research in Olfaction at the annual meeting of the Association
for Chemoreception Sciences (AChemS). The award honors a scientist
who has made significant contributions to the field of olfaction.
