Committee on Nominations Names Fellowship, Scholarship Winners
On Tues., April 2, the Faculty Nominating Committee named the recipients
of the 2001-2002 Charles H. Revson and Norman and Rosita Winston
Fellowships in Biomedical Research, C.H. Li Memorial Scholarship
and the King of Thailand Biomedical Fellowship. In addition, the
Committee selected the Merck Postdoctoral Fellow and the Bristol-Myers
Squibb Postdoctoral Fellow in Basic Neurosciences, which both are
awarded for a three-year period.
The six Revson Foundation fellowships were awarded to Diana Colgan
(Konarska lab), Andras Fiser (Sali lab), Srinivas Hothas (Kapoor
lab), Tomohiro Ishii (Mombaerts lab), Daniel Nelson (Fischetti lab)
and Timothy Tellinghuisen (Rice lab). The recipients of the
four Winston Foundation fellowships are Benoit Dubertret (Libchaber
lab), Shirly Pinto (Friedman lab), Justine Hill (Werner lab), and
I-hsin Su (Tarakhovsky lab).
The Merck Postdoctoral Fellowship recipient is Jennifer Ottensen
(Muir lab), and the Bristol-Myers Squibb Fellowship in Basic Neurosciences
was awarded to Felix Naef (Magnasco lab).
The C. H. Li award recipient is Jian-nong Feng (Zinder lab).
The King of Thailand Biomedical Fellow is Preeya Puangsomlee (Chua
lab).
