Alumni Return
to Campus for Reunion Next Month
The Rockefeller University community is gearing up to welcome graduates
of the Ph.D. program to campus next month for the Alumni Centennial
Symposium and Reunion, May 3 through 6. More than 300 people are
expected to return for this reunion, which will be the first major
gathering of Rockefeller alumni since 1984.
The reunion program includes two days of scientific symposia featuring
presentations by more than 50 Rockefeller alumni and students; a
student poster session; and social activities, with many opportunities
for discussion among alumni, faculty and current Ph.D. students.
Among preparations for the four-day event will be the transformation
of Welch Halls second floor into an Alumni Lounge. "Do
You Remember? Images from the Rockefeller University Archives,"
a retrospective of selected photographs and documents focusing on
the history of the university since the inception of the graduate
program, will be on display in the Alumni Lounge throughout the
reunion weekend.
Current graduate students are encouraged to attend the scientific
symposia and reunion festivities. The full reunion schedule is available
on the university's Web site: http://www.rockefeller.edu.reunion/.
