The Rockefeller Postdoctoral Association was created to serve the needs of all Postdoctoral Associates, Postdoctoral Fellows and Research Associates at the Rockefeller University. The PDA has two primary roles, (i) to provide both social and career development resources for its membership body and (ii) to represent the interests of this group directly to the faculty and administration. The PDA is governed by a set of bylaws that determine how the Association is organized, its membership, and the rules determining the annual election of six PDA "Representatives" in addition to their responsibilites to the PDA community. Please feel free to review the PDA bylaws that were recently revised in June of 2007.
All members of the PDA are strongly encouraged to contact the PDA representatives with any complaints, greivances or suggestions regarding any aspect of postdoc life on campus.
This website strives to provide a source of information for current and incoming postdocs to the Rockefeller University.
