The International Research Foundation for Children's Eye Care, Inc. has been created to promote international collaboration in pediatric ophthalmology research.

The Foundation now announces the availability of a limited number of travel grants, up to $1,000 US, for researchers in pediatric ophthalmology to attend The Association for Research in Vision and Ophthalmology (ARVO) Meeting (May 10 - May 15, 1998) in Fort Lauderdale, FL.

Eligible for the travel grants are applicants from within the United States involved in pediatric ophthalmology research who will present their research findings at the ARVO meeting.

Applications must be submitted by January 1, 1998. If approved, applicants willbe notified 1 month prior to the meeting date.

The application should include

a short curriculum vitae (CV) and
the abstract of the presentation submitted to ARVO.
