FACSCalibur System
One laser (488-nm) multipurpose flow cytometer

One laser (488-nm) benchtop system designed specifically to support the wide range of basic flowcytometric applications. The modularity and innovative technology designed into FACSCalibur system allows a lot of upgrades to take place to improve the flexibility and performance for variety of research applications.

It can work also in Doublet Discrimination Mode (DDM) and measure the pulse height, area and width of each fluorescence parameter which makes it perfect instrument for the cell cycle analysis.

Hopefully within fiscal year FY2004 we would be able to upgrade it with second laser / FL4 Option for four-color fluorescence with high sensitivity and minimal compensation.

Further upgrade with the Automatic loader and/or MultiWell AutoSampler is also possible.
