How to Become a User and Book Equipment
Step 1: Contact us; firstname.lastname@example.org is a good email address to use.
Step 2: We schedule a meeting and discuss feasibility and a possible plan. Thereafter we proceed the experiment and/or training.
Step 3: After your complete appropriate training, you will be eligible to sign up using the on line schedule for use of the equipment during the regular hours of operation, Monday–Friday, 9:00am-5:00pm. (https://ppms.rockefeller.edu/login.asp?pf=2)
Step 4: Once you become an experienced user, equipment time may be booked during non-business hours as well.
* Booking and Cancellation Policies: You can book time on an EM and related tools up to two weeks in advance (https://ppms.rockefeller.edu/login.asp?pf=2). The amount of time you book on the instrument will be used to determine the usage fees. The PPMS will allow you to cancel or modify your reservation up to 24 business hours prior to your scheduled start time. For Saturday, Sunday and Monday times, the cancellation will need to be done the preceding Friday. By doing this, you are being courteous to other EM users who may want/need the time you just freed up on the schedule and you will avoid incurring usage fees for the time you booked. If you need to cancel your session less than 24 hours prior to your starting time, please give us a notification by calling us or email us so that we can cancel your session. Please be considerate of our other users, and cancel your session as soon as you know you can not make your scheduled time.
