Goop
Mixture A
¾ cup warm water
1 cup white glue
few drops food coloring
Mixture B
4 teaspoons Borax
1 ⅓ cups warm water
Stir Mixture A ingredients in one bowl; stir Mixture B ingredients in another bowl. Make sure the Borax is completely dissolved in the water. Pour Mixture A into Mixture B. DO NOT STIR!
Let sit for one minute, then lift the Goop out. Store it in sealed plastic bags.
Air-dry Clay
2 cups baking soda
1 cup cornstarch
1 ¼ cups water
Mix baking soda and cornstarch together in a saucepan. Add the water. Cook over a medium high heat, stirring constantly, until it is the consistency of mashed potatoes. Spoon the dough onto a plate and cover with a damp cloth to cool.
If you wish to keep your creation, use a few drops of water to smooth them out. Let them air-dry until hard, usually two days. Flip them over a few times during drying so both side dry evenly.
Play dough
Mix together and knead thoroughly:
1 cup salt
1 cup flour
½ cup water
Have more flour available to avoid stickiness as dough is used. Keep in a tightly covered jar or bowl in the refrigerator. It can be kept for a shorter time unrefrigerated.
