Celebrating 100 Years

As we celebrate our Centennial at The Rockefeller University, we stand on the brink of a new era of discovery that will transform medicine. The study of genes will dominate this next stage of medical science. The marriage of molecular genetics and information technology promises insights about our very nature that will fundamentally change the way we live.

The university's mission -- to enable the best scientists to collaborate with each other in order to achieve their greatest work, and to help the public understand this science and its impact -- is as important today as it was in 1901.

We welcome you to these Centennial lectures and our campus to commemorate 100 years of great science for the benefit of humankind.
