We are looking to fill a scientist position for a research program in HIV vaccine immunogen research for a start date of July 1st, 2009, or soon thereafter. The successful candidate will have a Ph.D., experience in immunology, molecular biology, protein chemistry, and tissue culture. Though not required, familiarity with HTP facilities would be helpful. The scientist will be working in NYC within a global research & development organization focused on HIV vaccine development, and will be part of an exciting, for-profit early-stage biotechnology company. Apart from scientific experimentation, the scientist will participate in scientific strategy discussions, and grant and patent writing. Some travel will likely be necessary.
