Recycling

The Rockefeller University’s commitment to recycling has continued to grow. Recycling protects the earth’s natural resources, uses less energy and saves landfill space. The University has made it easier to recycle on campus, broadening the types of items that are accepted for recycling and making recycling bins readily available. Students and employees are even encouraged to bring recyclable materials, including alkaline and non-alkaline batteries, fluorescent bulbs, and electronic waste, from home if they lack access to proper recycling centers.
