Green Tip of the Month: Bike to Work

Alternative transportation
Instead of driving or taking the subway or bus every day, dust off the bike that's been sitting in storage, get it tuned up and ride to Rockefeller! You can park it in one of the many bike racks on campus. You'll also save in commuting costs and be sure to check out NYC's Cycling Map.

Good for the environment
Riding to work will reduce traffic congestion and your carbon footprint. And don't forget to carry a reusable water bottle in your bike's bottle-holder.

Good for your waistline
Pull double duty by burning calories and improving your cardiovascular health during your daily commute! Ensure your safety by following these bicycle safety tips.
